RECIPE Tip of the Day 2/28/07: Lumpia "Dipping" Sauce

LushMommy's Vinegar and Garlic "Sukang" for Lumpia

2 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped
1/4 cup vinegar
ground black pepper, to taste
hot sauce (optional)

Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. Allow to sit for a least 10 min before serving with fresh fried lumpia. (Make a small bite off the end and use a teaspoon to pour the vinegar directly into the eggroll.)

Ok, just kicking in with an on hand/leftover recipe to the cause-

Single serving of really bad bulk pasta from the warehouse store. Do not go al dente! (I am talking cheap bulk!)

8oz. can of tomatoe sauce, 2 dry basil leaves, pinch of cumin, pinch of chili, set to simmer.

Approx. 6-8 leftover buffalo wings, deboned.

Do the pasta, simmer the sauce, debone the wings, remove basil, combine all and chill.

I can't wait for lunch tomorrow.

Oh, and a pear sprinkled in sugar and drenched in citrus juice for sweets tomorrow.
